What we do
We deal in timber in the form of Round Logs, Rough Squares and Sawn timber from across the globe specializing in hardwoods like Saal, Kapur, Teak and many more. Hardwoods are stronger, sturdier and more durable than soft woods like Pine and Fur.
Round Logs and Rough Square Logs as the name suggests are raw forms of timber. They are imported and sold to sawmills directly or through resellers and need to be processed before being retailed.
Sawn timber is cut from round logs or rough square logs into different sizes as per the industry standard. These include beams, frame sizes and smaller recovery products. Our process involves the following:
Procuring mature and good quality log parcel from loggers in the source country mainly Malaysia, Indonesia and Ivory Coast.
Processing the logs in local factories in the source country.
Grading the processed sawn timber to ensure that only the best quality is shipped out.
Importing the final product to Kolkata/Haldia Port and selling locally across eastern India mainly Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
Exporting the final product from the source country to Nepal, South India and other international markets.
Though we deal in large quantity orders we do cater to the local retail orders and have a unit to resize timber into required sizes by local interiors, carpenters, contractors and end users.
