Bangkirai, Yellow Balau / Selangan Batu
Locally known as Saal Wood, Yellow Balau, is a wood obtained from trees of the Shorea species of Malaysia. It is used for Door & Window frames, decking, structural timber, flooring, shipbuilding, barrels, truck body, staircase, piling, beams, railway sleepers and many other applications.
Balau hardwood is stronger than many other wood types. It is also extremely resistant to marine borers making it ideal for use in marine applications.
Bangkirai is the local name for Balau from Indonesia. This is imported in Door Profile sizes and is smoothened (Planed) on all 4 sides, technically known as S4S. This makes it ideal for use in Door & Window frames and is most sought after by builders because of its ease of use.

It has a very broad range of applications including flooring, staircase, frames, joinery, mouldings, liping, ceiling, railings, paneling and many more. The timber is also highly prized for external joinery, in particular for door and window sills, as it is resistant to decay when fully exposed to the weather.

Teak
We import teak from Ivory Coast in Western Africa and also trade in teak from Mizoram, India. We also at times import from Latin American countries like Guatemala, Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica & Columbia and Other African nations like Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Benin & Sudan. Teak has always been a prized material and is the Golden Standard in timber. The tree that teak comes from, Tectonagrandis, is native to the tropics. Since around the 7th century, it has been used to outfit and adorn the residences of the wealthy and powerful. Teak has an abundance of natural oils and rubber locked right into the tight grain of the wood.

SYP is imported from United States of America. The imported lumber is ready to apply as it planed on all four sides; S4S.
Known for its strength and durability, southern yellow pine (SYP) grows in the southern United States from Virginia to Florida and West to the Piney Woods of Texas.
Builders select SYP lumber for almost every purpose. In residential construction, SYP is used in many structural applications such as joists, rafters, roof trusses, and laminated beams and decorative purposes.
